NEW ULM - Darlene Evelyn Boddy, 73, of New Ulm, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at her home in New Ulm.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 13 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Grant Bode officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Saturday.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Donald Boddy of New Ulm; daughter, Dianne (Tim) Bosiacki of Dayton; sons, Steven (Rhonda) Domine of Mahtomedi and Todd (Sandi) Domine of Alexandria; stepsons, Jerry (Dee) Boddy, Arlyn (Sue) Boddy, and Dan (significant other Melanie Gleisner) Boddy all of New Ulm; 4 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Block of Morton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Domine in 1974; parents; and step-daughter, Linda Mulvihill.
Darlene Evelyn Block was born August 26, 1939 in Redwood County to Willard and Evelyn (Covell) Block. She graduated from Morton High School in 1957. She was united in marriage to Harold Domine on June 12, 1960 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Mankato. Together they became parents to Dianne, Steven, and Todd. Harold passed away on March 29, 1974. On July 10, 1977 she was united in marriage to Donald Boddy at Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Darlene enjoyed cards, crafts, baseball, and spending time with family and friends. Darlene was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Ulm, the LWML for over 50 years, and belonged to the choir. She will be greatly missed.
