Robbinsdale-Cooper 26 New Ulm 14

NEW HOPE - Robbinsdale Cooper defeated New Ulm in nonconference prep football action Friday.

No stats were available for New Ulm.

New Ulm (0-4 overall) will play at Blue Earth Area Friday and Robbinsdale-Cooper (2-1) is at St. Louis Park on Friday.

Nicollet 18,

Westbrook-Walnut Grove 6

NICOLLET- Dalton Elliott led Nicollet past Westbrook-Walnut Grove Friday night in a Southern Confederacy Conference football game.

Elliott was five-for-21 passing for 144 yards with one touchdown pass to Matt Fischer. He rushed 25 times for 64 yards and he scored two rushing touchdowns for the Raiders. He had 11 tackles defensively.

Matt Christenson had 17 tackles, 11 of them were solo tackles. Gavin Nourie had 10 tackles.

Nicollet (3-0) hosts Cleveland next Friday night.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown 53, G-F-W 18

WATERVILLE - Waterville-Elysian-Morristown defeated Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop in Gopher/Valley football action Friday.

Zach Black had two receptions for 25 yards and two touchdowns to lead GFW. Jaden Katzenmeyer was 4-for-20 with 72 yards passing and two touchdowns.

GFW (0-3) is at Bethlehem Academy Friday and WEM (1-2) is at Blooming Prairie on Friday.

BLHS 27, CMC 15

HECTOR - Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart defeated Cedar Mountain/Comfrey in a Southern Minnesota Conference football game Friday.

Jake Pettit of BLHS was 8-for-18 passing with 80 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Pettit rushed for 37 yards in 12 carries. Tate Lang led with 109 rushing yards with 19 carries.

CMC's, Brady Kerkhoff had 10 carries for 29 yards and Andrew Richter had 13 carries for 73 yards.

BL-H-S will travel to Martin County West Friday.

CM/C (1-2) will play at New Ulm Cathedral Friday.

MCW 45, MVL 26

SHERBURN - Minnesota Valley Lutheran lost to Martin County West in Southern Minnesota Conference action on Friday night.

The Mavericks jumped out to a 28-0 lead after the first quarter thanks to three touchdown passes from Jake Faber, who also ran 64 yards for the quarter's other score.

Seth Kroells put the Chargers (0-3) on the board with a 2-yard run in the second quarter. The Chargers trailed 31-12 at halftime after a 20-yard pass from DeAndre Parker found Jacob Hoffman for a score.

Overall, Parker went 9-of-19 for 123 yards passing. Kroells led the Chargers with 86 rushing yards off his 16 carries. Nate Wong also rushed for 64 yards off 10 carries.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran's next game is at Red Rock Central next Friday. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
