New Ulm boys fall to Worthington

WORTHINGTON - The New Ulm boys soccer team built an early lead against Worthington in the Section 2A playoffs, but the Eagles were unable to hold on to the lead and lost 4-2 to the Trojans.

The loss ends New Ulm's season at 10-5-1.

Broderick Brown scored New Ulm's first goal unassisted and Tim Plocher added the second goal on an assist from Noah Webb.

The Eagles took the 2-0 lead into halftime, but the Trojans scored four unanswered goals to eliminate New Ulm.
