NEW ULM - Pat Wrase, named Thursday as the new Director of Utilities for the New Ulm Public Utilities, effective Jan. 4, 2014, will be paid $50.42 per hour (an annual salary of $104,876.60) during a three-month probationary period, according to City Manager Brian Gramentz.

That is the 5th year rate for the Utility Director position, including a two percent increase that was approved by the PUC.

After the probationary period, Wrase will move to the 6th year level of the Utility Director position and receive $50.88 per hour (an annual salary of $105,830.40).

Wrase will have the option of returning to his Utility Engineer's position during the three month probationary period, if he chooses to do so.
