Celestine "Sally" Sieve Maiers, age 96, of Sleepy Eye died on August 19, 2014, at Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye.
Service will be held at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, on Saturday, August 23, at 10:30 a.m.
The clergy will be Msgr. Eugene Lozinski
Interment will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye and will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church. There will be a Christian Mothers Rosary at 5 p.m. and parish prayer and time of sharing at 7 p.m., both Friday at the funeral home.

Sally (Celestine) Sieve Maiers was born on November 23, 1917 in Iona, MN to Mathias & Theresa (Wermerskirchen) Entinger.
She grew up on a farm in Iona Township. After graduating from St. Columbia High School in 1936, she attended Brady & Rogers Beauty College in Minneapolis; where she worked for a time. On June 23, 1941 she married Paul Sieve in Columbia, GA. They moved to Wilmont, MN where they had 7 children, as well as owned and operated the Kee Theater. Sally operated "Sally's Beauty Shop" in Wilmont and also after moving to Sleepy Eye in 1965 until she retired at the age of 87. Sally was a member of St. Mary's Church, Christian Mothers, VFW Auxiliary, Divine Providence Auxiliary, Sleepy Eye Hospital Auxiliary and Sleepy Eye Bowlers Assoc. She loved traveling, playing cards, bowling, fishing, dancing, crocheting, knitting and gardening.
She is survived by all of her 7 children, Dennis Sieve (Karen) of Richfield, Luana Beech of Apple Valley, Jane Hoffmann of Ottawa, IL, Marcy (Tony) Erickson of Cohasset, Glenn Sieve (Laurie) of St. James, Lois Heymans of Winona, Brian Sieve (Rhonda) of New Ulm; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 8 stepchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul in 1977; husband, Joseph in 1991; 10 siblings and son-in-law.
