Sleepy Eye City Council approves airport bid, MnDOT grant
SLEEPY EYE — The Sleepy Eye City Council unanimously approved a Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) airport equipment grant and an airport improvement bid Tuesday. Sleepy Eye City Manager Bob Elston said the $19,745 state grant will cover the entire cost of the new (John Deere) Frontier FM 41115 Flex Wing Grooming mower since the trade-in mower value of $2,485 covered the city’s 10% local matching requirement of the state grant.
