OFFER REWARD FOR FOUR FUGITIVES
County Commissioners Offer $500 Reward, Each, for Apprehension of “Eye Specialists,” Who Forfeited Bail in Total Sum of $8,000, and $250 Each for Apprehension of Two Pickpockets, Who Operated at Fair Last Fall.-Failed to Appear.
Sleuths all over the country are invited to take up the trail of Roy L. Martin and Elliot Wilkinson, arrested here last fall while posing as “eye specialists” and Chas. Murphy and Howard Healey, pickpockets, who operated during the county fair last August. The county commissioners have offered a reward in each instance for the apprehension of Martin and Wilkinson in the sum of $500 and $250 each for the capture and turning over to the local authorities of the pickpockets.
All four were out on bail to appear at the opening session of court at the present term to answer to informations filed by County Attorney T.O. Streissguth. They did not appear, and forfeited their bail, as announced in another column of the Journal.
