Residents Urged To Attend
Session And Offer Opinions.

Citizens interested in the matter of sprinkling the streets of New Ulm during the present year are requested to meet Wednesday evening February 25, at 7:30 o’clock in the Armory for the purpose of considering the project.
Property Owners Invited.
All property owners on German street, Minnesota Street, Broadway, State street, Washington and Franklin Streets are urged to be present. This matter has been under consideration of the Council for some time and is of especial interest to property owners who are invited to attend this meeting and take part in the discussion.

EXAMINATION FOR
CHAUFFEUR’S LICENSE

W.R. Tebo will be in the city next Sunday, Feb. 22, and will hold examinations for chauffeur’s licenses at the police station. The examinations will be held between the hours of 10 and 2. All those who had licenses last year and had them renewed need not attend but those who failed to renew their licenses Jan. 1. or who have not yet had a license but want to take one out should attend. Chief of Police Alwin Harmening has the application blanks on hand and those intending to take the examinations should obtain a blank and have it filled out and save time.

WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY

Mrs. Arthur Zieske of Courtland pleaded guilty to the charge of assault filed against her by Miss Wanda Nelson teacher in the Courtland village school. The case was heard in the justice court of Judge Miller at St. Peter Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock and the woman was fined $50 and costs. County Attorney George Olsen of St. Peter had charge of the case.
Review readers will remember that Mrs. Zieske attacked Miss Nelson in the school house where she had gone to remonstrate with her in regard to school matters.
