ROB PRIEST’S HOME

and 12o’clock Sunday morning a thief entered home of Rev. F. Posek at St. George and took a sum of money which had been taken as collection at the first mass Sunday. The total amount included $40 in cash, a check for $100 made in favor of Rev. Posek and signed by John Liebl, Jr.

The priest had returned to his home between masses and placed the contributions in a box kept for that purpose. There were some large bills but the majority of the cash was in small change. Four dollars stacked up on a desk in the room was not touched and a sum of three dollars in a drawer in another room was not touched. The guilty party was satisfied with his main haul and left the other small amounts. As near as can be learned nothing else in the home was disturbed.
