GreenSeam’s State of Ag Survey Open Until February 7
GreenSeam is calling on all individuals and organizations connected to Minnesota’s food and agricultural industry to participate in the 2025 State of Ag survey.
This is an opportunity to share insights that will shape the future of the industry and inform its direction.
Partnering with Minnesota State University, Mankato, GreenSeam is facilitating this survey along with
focus groups in communities throughout the region. These efforts aim to gather comprehensive data to
address key industry challenges and identify new opportunities.
Launched in 2020, the State of Ag Report was created to address a significant gap in Minnesota’s
agribusiness data. Over the years, the survey has evolved into a vital resource, offering benchmarks and
highlighting trends that help stakeholders navigate industry dynamics. It provides an in-depth examination of challenges, performance metrics, and best practices within the agriculture sector. GreenSeam and its partners use this data to drive meaningful initiatives and strengthen the industry. Producers, manufacturers, educators, professional service providers, and others in ag-related fields are encouraged to participate.
“The feedback from our industry leaders and contributors is essential for delivering accurate and
meaningful data,” said Sam Ziegler, President and Director of GreenSeam. “Their insights ensure that this report is relevant and impactful, helping to guide informed decisions that promote positive change across the entire Ag industry in Minnesota.”
The survey takes only 10-15 minutes to complete and is open through February 7. To participate, visit
GreenSeam’s website at www.greenseam.org/stateofag/.
The survey results will be compiled into the 2025 State of Ag Report and shared during a special
presentation March 18, National Ag Day.
