Sibley County District Court

• Jesus Lara Jr., 37, Gaylord, admitted to violating probation terms on an underlying offense of failure to register as a predatory offender March 20. He was sentenced to 27 days in the Sibley County jail.

• Michael James Mansfield, 40, Gaylord, requested an omnibus hearing March 20 on a charge alleging felony wrongfully obtaining assistance. A hearing was set for 1 p.m. April 10.

• Kerry Lynn Brockhoff, 47, Arlington, pled guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance March 20. She was sentenced to 65 months in prison, stayed and placed on up to five years supervised probation and fined $1,085. Conditions included serving one year in the Sibley County Jail, complete 160 hours sentence to service, complete a comprehensive assessment.

• Wanda Lee Vela, 41, Stewart, pled guilty to first-degree controlled substance possession March 20. She was sentenced to 75 months in prison, stayed for up to five years supervised probation. Conditions include completing chemical use and diagnostic assessments, not use or possess alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances and fined $135.
