Oak Hills Living Center locking down
Over coronavirus
NEW ULM — Oak Hills Living Center announced Wednesday that it is locking down over concerns about the coronavirus.
“At this time, out of an abundance of caution, Oak Hills Living Center is restricting all visitors to our facility,” Tammy Hoffmann, housing director for Oak Hills, said in a statement Wednesday. “All of the doors to the facility will be locked and front entrance access to the building will be limited to only essential personnel. We are posting signs on our entry way doors to notify visitors of this policy and actively screening essential personnel who need to come into the building.”
The move came as the state announced confirmation of the 4th and 5th cases of coronavirus in the state.
