New Ulm Medical Center welcomes new acupuncturist
NEW ULM — New Ulm Medical Center Clinic welcomes a new acupuncturist, Jacob Esser, MAc, LAc, DiplAc, to the clinic staff. Esser graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University as class valedictorian in 2020.
Having grown up in a small south central Wisconsin town, Esser says he was immediately drawn to New Ulm when he first visited.
“I took a drive around town and down Minnesota Street and loved it,” Esser said. “As soon as I met some of the staff at New Ulm Medical Center and witnessed their passion for treating patients and being a part of the community, I was sold. I am excited to be a part of this type of community once again.”
As an acupuncturist, Esser says he enjoys working with patients to put the puzzle pieces together to find out what is going on beyond the symptoms they present and adapt treatments to deliver the best possible outcome.
“I became an acupuncturist because I wanted an alternative way to help people outside of mainstream medicine,” Esser said. “Witnessing firsthand the positive impact this had on people’s lives while reducing or eliminating the use of prescriptions solidified that this was the career for me.”
Esser is now seeing patients in the New Ulm Medical Center Clinic. To make an appointment, call 507-217-5307.
