Park and Rec Report
• Rock on Ice begins Friday, Nov 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. and runs through February. The program is geared for middle and high schoolers. Anyone 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is $5.50. Skate rentals available for $3. No trainers allowed on the ice during this program.
• Vogel Fieldhouse Gym Courts and Track opens Friday Nov. 8 at 4 p.m. HVAC work will continue for a period of time. There will be a modified entrance. Court 1 will remain closed until Nov. 15 until 4 p.m. Expect minor interruptions with the schedule as work progresses. The track will be re-routed at times and the entire fieldhouse will be closed a day next week. The rest of the Rec Center continues to be open and operating as normal.
•Tot Swim is offered Wednesdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Zero depth area only and children must be within arms reach of an adult. Admission is $3 per child. 12-Punch card available for $27
• Tot Gym is offered Monday and Fridays from 9:30-11 a.m. to burn off energy and play with our fun equipment!
• Open Broom Ball (non-checking) starts Wednesday nights at the Civic Center Nov. 6 and runs 7:45-8:45 p.m.
• Red Cross Lifeguard Training is offered throughout the year, based on participant interest/schedule. Contact Aquatics and Fitness Coordinator bend@newulmmn.gov to get on the list.
Park Restrooms and picnic shelters are now closed for the season.
• Winter-Spring Activities Guide will be released late December with registration beginning early January.
