Citizens Bank Senior Vice President Tim Hoscheit to retire

Tim Hoscheit, Senior Vice President/Chief Credit Officer, of Citizens Bank Minnesota to retire at the end of the year.

NEW ULM – After over 38 years Tim Hoscheit, Senior Vice President/Chief Credit Officer, of Citizens Bank Minnesota, will retire on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Hoscheit joined Citizens in 1986 as an Agricultural Loan Officer and was later promoted to Vice President in 1992, followed by Senior Vice President in 2015. He was most recently promoted to SVP/Chief Credit Officer in 2019. Growing up on a dairy farm in Southern Minnesota, Tim developed a deep connection to the agricultural community, which shaped his career. After graduating from college in La Crosse, Wisconsin in 1978, he worked as a lender for over seven years prior to joining Citizens. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at University of Colorado, Boulder.

Outside of Citizens, Hoscheit has actively served the New Ulm community in numerous roles through involvement with New Ulm Jaycees, Lions Club, United Way of Brown County, New Ulm Club, New Ulm Baseball, New Ulm Area Youth Football, Farm City Hub Club, Cottonwood Land Company, St. Paul’s Church, and the MLC Golf Classic. After his retirement from Citizens, he will remain an active member of the Citizens Board of Directors where he has served as a director since 2019.

An open house will be held 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2025 at the New Ulm Country Club, 1 Golf Drive, New Ulm. All friends, clients and well-wishers are welcome. Hoscheit and his wife, Kim, plan to continue residing in New Ulm, where they look forward to staying connected with friends and family.
