Willkommen: Junior Achievement – New Managers
NEW ULM – The Willkommen Committee recently welcomed new managers at Junior Achievement: Katie Mons and Haley Geinnotta.
Mons has been with Junior Achievement for seven years working with teachers and volunteers in the Mankato area, writing grants, and now functions as Senior Manager for Minnesota. Geinnotta, originally a teacher, became a program coordinator in July.
Junior Achievement serves K-12 students by having volunteers work as guest speakers and give lessons on things like financial literacy and career readiness. The lessons are easy to learn for their volunteers, who are provided with kits to help them be successful.
Junior Achievement.. are always looking for volunteers to run these lessons as well as career speakers who can share about their path in all kinds of different fields. Volunteers work with teachers to find a schedule that fits them. As they say “it takes a village,” and they are very thankful for the support that they have received from New Ulm.
