Teaching, counseling and admin scholarship applications being accepted

New Ulm Area Foundation (NUAF) is accepting applications for the $5,000 Charlotte Raymond Anderson Scholarship.

The application deadline is March 15. This scholarship is available to 2025 high school graduates AND PAST graduates from ISD 88, Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School, and Cathedral High School pursuing a college or graduate degree in education. Again in 2025, the scope of this scholarship program is broadened to also include the pursuit of a degree in school counseling or administration.

Per Charlotte’s wishes, this $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to at least one student pledging their intent to attain the highest level of proficiency in education, or to an established educator pursuing a graduate degree to increase their expertise in teaching, counseling, or administration.

The scholarship also carries potential of renewal for the recipient each year of college, up to three renewals, after being awarded the scholarship.
