NEW ULM – Friday, Feb. 21 The 4 Pillars Gallery at the The Grand Center for Arts and Culture will be hosting a reception for Ferman and Eunice Woodberry’s show “Photo-to-Quilt”.

The reception starts at 6:30 p.m. and will go until 8 p.m. This show features quilts made by Eunice and photo-collages made by Ferman.

Photography is a hobby that Eunice and Ferman Woodberry share. Over the years Eunice has wondered how images from their photography could be translated into fabric to create quilted wall-hangings. As they have interacted with each other’s artwork, Eunice discovered collage quilting and Ferman discovered a collage program that allows him to insert his photos into squares that he then transforms into traditional quilt blocks.
