Five members of the Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School (MVL) speech team competed at a tournament at Mankato East High School.

This was the largest tournament that Mankato East has ever held, with over 400 students competing across thirteen categories. The following MVL students made it to the finals and placed: Jake Bruegger, 4th place novice storytelling, Olive Clemons, 3rd place novice creative expression, and Claire Woller, 4th place varsity extemporaneous reading.
