MVL knowledge bowl
Minnesota Valley Lutheran competed against 10 other schools in the Region 9 AA Knowledge Bowl Meet in Mankato Tuesday, Feb 25.
A total of 38 teams participated with the top two teams earning berths to the state meet held in Brainerd on April 10-11.
MVL Black took home first place with a score of 102 points and MVL Blue took second place with 83 points earning a trip to state.
Cathedral Candy Apple Red placed third with a score of 80.5, Loyola Uli Uli was fourth with 75 points, and MVL Navy claimed fifth with 67.5 points. There are two more Region 9 meets upcoming with the AAA schools and A schools competing in their meets with state qualification on the line.
