NEW ULM – The New Ulm Farm-City Hub Club held its 43rd annual farm show at the New Ulm Civic Center March 8-9.

Nine adult and 10 kids’ door prizes were awarded at the show. Franklin Klinkner of Lake Crystal won the show’s grand prize, a Shop Vac donated by Runnings of New Ulm. The usual Farm Show door prizes of fire extinguishers and carbon monoxide detectors were awarded, courtesy of club members Don Sanderson State Farm Insurance of New Ulm, Community Insurance Agency of Lafayette, and Joe Maidl Auctioneering & Real Estate of Lafayette.

Winners of fire extinguishers were Marvin Stueber, David Laffrenzen and Janet Seifert of New Ulm and Teresa Peterson of Hanska. Winners of carbon monoxide detectors were Phyllis Weber of Sanborn, Suzanne Windschitl of Sleepy Eye, Carol Folsom of Courtland, and Molly Krueger of Gibbon.

Kids’ door prizes were donated by Kibble Implement, Miller-Sellner, and Runnings. Winners of the kids’ prizes were Lennox Roppe, Caleb Heidt, Evelyn Surely, Kelsey Schaefer, Becca Nelson, Calla Ahlness, Mila Nordby, Noah Stickel, Gabe Fischer, and Stella Kohn.

Those who have not already picked up their door prizes can do so at Don Sanderson’s State Farm Insurance office at 1600 North Broadway in New Ulm during normal business hours.
