United Way received over $8,800 from Koozie Group

As a result of its writing instrument giveback program, Koozie Group raised $26,420.70 for three local United Way chapters in 2024, with each chapter receiving over $8,800 apiece. Koozie Group announce it raised over $8,800 for United Way of the Brown County Area in 2024 as a result of its writing instrument giveback program.

The program involved donating 5 percent of Koozie Group®’s writing instrument sales referencing a specific code. In 2024, the company raised $26,420.70 for three regional United Way chapters near its facilities in Florida and Minnesota, with each chapter receiving $8,806.90 apiece. These chapters included United Way Suncoast in Tampa, Florida; United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha & Pierce Counties in Red Wing, Minnesota; and United Way of the Brown County Area in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Last year, Koozie Group also provided a total of 2,000 backpacks full of school supplies to these chapters to be distributed to area students for their back-to-school needs. The backpacks and their contents were valued at over $20,000.

Sandra Juni, Executive Director of United Way of the Brown County Area, said, “We are so grateful for the partnership of Koozie Group and their dedication to supporting our in-house programming. The funding we receive from Koozie Group directly impacts the children of Brown County. Through the generosity of their funds and the unwavering support of our back-to-school Backpack Program, we can provide a full backpack to over 500 students each year. Koozie Group has reached out to the United Way consistently, and we consider them to be major contributors to the communities in Brown County as they lead in local philanthropy.”

Koozie Group will continue to support of these three regional United Way chapters in 2025.
