COURTLAND TOWNSHIP — The Minnesota State Patrol identified the driver of a one-vehicle fatal crash at 7:58 a.m. Friday in Courtland Township as Daniel Robert Edwards, 32, Mankato.

Edwards was driving a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 westbound on Highway 14 when it left the road and crashed. Edwards did not wear a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved, according to the State Patrol.

The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, Courtland Fire Department and Allina Ambulance assisted.
