Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 5:47 p.m. Saturday near 31298 627th Avenue, Severance Township, about 2 miles south of Gibbon. Daniel Garton, 32, Gibbon was driving a 2006 GMC Yukon southbound on CR 2 when he collided with a 2020 Dodge Durango driven by Emily Ahlbrecht, 43, Gibbon. Both drivers wore seat belts and were not injured. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and towed. Gibbon Police, Fire and Winthrop Ambulance assisted.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a suspicious activity report at 5:56 p.m. Sunday near CR 27/CR 11. A juvenile female with suicidal ideation was sent to New Ulm Medical Center for evaluation. A report went to Brown County Human Services.

New Ulm Police

• Received an animal complaint at 5:24 p.m. Sunday on Payne St. S. An 8-year-old girl was bitten by an Australian Shepherd mix dog with up to date immunizations. A report went to the animal control office.

• Responded to a disturbing text message report at 9:01 p.m. Sunday on Linden Street. A 49-year-old woman was found to be living in a camper. No injuries or damage reported. A report went to Brown County Human Services.

• Responded to a report of two vehicle tires valued at $450 and two motorcycle tires valued at $300 slashed on German St. N. at 9:15 a.m. Monday. A report was done for documentation.
