New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 12th North and Minnesota Street at 4:54 p.m. Friday. A 2005 Honda Accord driven northbound on Minnesota St. by Natalie Schumann, 17, failed to stop at the 12th North intersection and collided with a 2010 Ford F150 driven westbound on 12th North by Jeffrey Havemeier, 37, New Ulm. No injuries reported. Both drivers wore seat belts. Damage was moderate to both vehicles. The Honda was towed.

• A 74-year-old Brown County Humane Society worker reported a left arm puncture wound from a dog at 2:42 p.m. Saturday. The woman went to the New Ulm Medical Center Emergency Room for treatment. A report went to the animal control office.

• Wal-Mart reported 14 skip scan thefts with a total value of $555.11 from June 2 to Sept. 23. The suspect is a 39-year-old New Ulm man. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Received a theft report at 7:25 p.m. Saturday regarding a vehicle window broken and a purse taken at the New Ulm Community Center, 600 German St. N. Police are reviewing surveillance camera footage. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a broken vehicle window theft report from Hermann Heights Park at 8:35 p.m. Saturday. A purse was taken from the vehicle. A report went to investigators.

• Received a broken vehicle window theft report at New Ulm Community Center at 7:58 p.m. Saturday. A purse was taken from the vehicle. A report went to investigators.

• Received a theft report of a wallet taken from a vehicle at Hermann Heights Park at 9:42 p.m. Saturday. The caller said four or five males dressed in all black clothing were seen leaving the area. A report went to investigators.

• A 23-year-old New Ulm female reported receiving a threatening text message at 10:23 p.m. Saturday from an individual and phone number they did not recognize. A report went to investigators.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a vandalism report at 7:49 a.m. Monday at the Little Red Schoolhouse, Albin Township. A basement window was broken. Several items were broken. A report was done for documentation.

• Arrested a 29-year-old New Ulm male in Milford Township for felony strangulation and interferring with a 911 call after a 911 hangup call was received at 11:37 a.m. Monday. No medical attention was sought.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received animal complaints on the 400 block 1st Ave. N. at 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Police said a Burmese Mountain Dog was bitten by another dog, but the injury was minor. A report went to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash between a tractor-trailer and minivan on State Highway 19 and CR 17, Arlington Township, four miles south of Arlington at reported at 11:06 a.m. Monday. Antonio Perez, 51, Faribault, was driving a 2010 International Lonestar tractor-trailer with sweet corn when he collided with a 2005 Dodge Caravan driven northbound on CR 17 by Bonny Whitt, 58, of Norwood-Young America. Antonio, Whitt and two minivan passengers were treated for apparent non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles had heavy damage. The Minnesota State Patrol, the Arlington Fire/Ambulance Dept., Henderson Fire Dept.and Gaylord Ambulance assisted.
