New Ulm Police
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without reported injuries at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday at Center and Broadway. A 2002 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Thomas Gent, 17, Sleepy Eye, was southbound on Broadway when it struck a 2024 GMC Sierra driven westbound on Center by Lauren Hoffmann, 71, New Ulm. Both drivers wore seat belts. Damage was severe to the Pontiac, moderate to the GMC.
• Stopped a vehicle at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday at German St. S. and 16th St. S. A report for consideration of a stop sign violation, open cannabis package in a motor vehicle and 3rd-degree cannabis possession was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Arrested a 51-year-old New Ulm man for 2nd-degree DWI at 2:29 p.m. Tuesday and transported him to the Brown County Jail. The vehicle was forfeited. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
• Responded to a domestic call involving a 32-year-old New Ulm woman and 37-year-old New Ulm man at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday on the 800 block, N. Broadway. No injuries reported. The parties were separated. A report for charge consideration went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to dog bite at 10:11 p.m. Tuesday in North Star Township. A victim was transported to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center Emergency Room. No more information was available. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
