Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 7:59 a.m. Thursday on State Highway 15, Lafayette Township, Nicollet County. A 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt driven northbound by Taylor Ann Natalie, 23, New Ulm, collided with a southbound 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Jolene Marie Briard, 63, Gaylord. Briard was transported to New Ulm Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Airbags deployed. Alcohol was not involved. Allina Ambulance and the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

New Ulm Police

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at Center and Camelsback Road at 1:17 a.m. Friday. Kyle Robert Guyer, 31, New Ulm, was driving a 2007 Volkswagon Rabbit southbound. He did not wear a seat belt, was severely injured and airlifted to a twin cities medical facility. Vehicle damage was severe. The crash is under investigation. No more details were available.

• Received an assault report at Riverbend Area Learning Center, 1315 S. Broadway at 3:02 p.m. Thursday involving a 9-year-old male student and teacher. No medical attention was sought.

• Received a possible HRO violation by text message report at 7:11 a.m. Friday from a 36-year-old New Ulm man. The suspect is a 48-year-old man with no address. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
