New Ulm Police

• Received a skip-scanning theft report from Aug. 10 to Oct. 5 at Walmart at 7:16 p.m. Tuesday involving a 62-year-old Winthrop man and 55-year-old Winthrop woman. They were cited for misdemeanor theft. Total value of the items was $179.75.

• Responded to a domestic call at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday. A 37-year-old New Ulm woman complained of left hip pain but did not seek medical attention. A 38-year-old New Ulm man was transported to the Brown County Jail for domestic assault.

• Responded to a domestic all on the 1400 block of South Broadway at 3:33 a.m. Wednesday involving a 44-year-old New Ulm woman and 49-year-old New Ulm man. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for consideration of domestic assault and threats of violence charges.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a reported two-vehicle crash at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of CR 17 and CR 62. Wendy Kube, 60, Arlington, was eastbound on 290th Street in a school bus when it collided with a 2008 Mazda sedan driven northbound on 391st St. by John Thomes, 62, Arlington. Thomes and a juvenile were transported by ambulance for treatment for unknown injuries. Assisting agencies were Henderson and Arlington Fire, Arlington Ambulance, Ridgeview Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol.

• Responded to a two-vehicle rear-end crash without apparent injuries on TH 25 near the intersection of 265th Street, 2.5 miles northwest of Belle Plaine, Faxon Township at 7:32 a.m. Wednesday. Michelle Kuske, 54, Belle Plaine, was driving a 2013 Ford Escape eastbound on TH 25 collided with a 2016 Chevy Silverado driven eastbound on TH 25 by Devon Jenneke, 19, Gaylord. Both vehicles were damaged but drive-able. Heavy fog was a crash factor.

• Responded to a two-vehicle injury crash on CR 9 near 286th Street, Kelso Township, four miles south of Arlington at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday. Jennifer Wolter, 20, Arlington, was driving a 2014 Ford Escape southbound on CR 9 when she collided with a southbound 2022 Nissan Rogue driven by Darlene Weckworth, 70, Arlington. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital with apparent non-life threatening injuries. Everyone wore seat belts. Vehicle damage was moderate. Heavy fog was a crash factor. Arlington Fire/Ambulance and Gaylord Ambulance assisted.
