New Ulm Police
* Responded to a 911 hangup call at 11:32 a.m. Tuesday on Summit Avenue involving a 44-year-old man and 28-year-old woman, both of New Ulm. It was determined the man interfered with the woman trying to make a 911 call. The man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. Reports went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office and Brown County Probation.
* Responded to Riverbend Area Learning Center on South Broadway at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday for a 17-year-old Fairfax girl with vapes that fell out of her pocket in gym class. A citation was issued after police tested the vapes that tested positive for THC. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
* Responded to a crash at 6:53 a.m. Thursday at 2nd North Street and Broadway. An unknown vehicle broke a do not enter sign. Vehicle debris indicated minor front end damage.
Brown County Sheriff’s Office
* Responded to a domestic call in Milford Township at 7:10 p.m. Monday. A 33-year-old New Ulm woman said a 33-year-old Sleepy Eye man contacted her Saturday after she filed for an Harassment Restraining Order. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
* Took a report at 7:04 p.m Saturday of a 39-year-old New Ulm man skip scanning at the Walmart self checkout five times from Sept. 23 to Nov. 2. Total value of the incidents was $261.62. The suspect was cited for theft. A report was done for documentation.
