New Ulm Police
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without reported injuries at Broadway and Center at 7:13 p.m. Friday. A 1998 Chevrolet GMT driven by Dakota Steven Nelson, 27, New Ulm, was traveling east on Center, attempted to turn left and proceed north on Broadway, and collided with a 2013 Ford F150 driven westbound on Center by Rebecca Lynn Lang, 40, New Ulm. Both drivers wore seat belts. Damage was moderate to the front driver side of the Chevrolet and moderate to the driver’s side door panels of the Ford.
• Stopped a vehicle at 1315 S. Broadway at 2:13 a.m. Sunday. A 23-year-old Gibbon man was arrested for 4th-degree DWI and transported to the Brown County Jail. Reports went to Brown County Probation and the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Received a skip-scanning report at Walmart at 1:51 p.m. Friday. A 55-year-old New Ulm woman was cited for not scanning $100.26 worth of merchandise Nov. 26.
• Received a skip-scanning report at Walmart at 1:51 p.m. Friday. A 23-year-old Sleepy Eye woman was cited for not scanning $123.60 worth of merchandise Dec. 8.
• Found filthy living conditions on the 1500 block of Minnesota St. N. Friday. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
