* Took a report of a male pushing a cart out of Walmart without paying for the items inside the cart at 7:48 p.m. Thursday. Walmart was able to obtain a license plate number. Officers viewed surveillance video that matched the drivers license photo of the registered owner of the vehicle. A citation was issued to a 27-year-old man from North Mankato for theft that totaled $38.56. Report was done for documentation.
• Took a skip scanning report at Walmart Thursday. On three separate occasions, unscanned merchandise was placed into a bag. Total value of the theft was $132.81. Officers contacted the suspect, a 44-year-old Fairfax man. The male asked if he could reimburse Walmart. A citation was issued for theft. Report was done for documentation.
• Spoke with 25-year-old Winthrop woman at 10:22 a.m. Thursday who said her mother, a 45 year old Winthrop woman, has a Harassment Restraining Order against a 53 year old New Ulm man. She said she believed her mother and the New Ulm man were together, which would be a violation. Officers were not able to locate the two. Report was done for documentation.
