Minnesota State Patrol
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 71, Sanborn, Redwood County at 7:57 a.m. Jan. 15. A 1999 Peterbilt semi driven northbound by Chad Robert Lee Bonin, 32, Franklin; and a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse driven northbound by Daine Marie Arnsdorf, 75, Sanborn collided. Arnsdorf was transported to North Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Bonin was not injured. Bonin did not wear a seat belt. It was unknown if Arnsdorf wore a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved. Assisting agencies included Sanborn Fire/Medical, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Centra Care and North Memorial Air Care.
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 19 near 501st Avenue, Transit Township, Sibley County at 3:39 p.m. Monday. Stephanie Lynn Fehring, 39, Winthrop, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox westbound on Highway 19 when it collided with a westbound 2003 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 17-year-old Fairfax driver. Fehring was transported to Ridgeview Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She did not wear a seat belt. Four juveniles in the Fehring vehicle, two 15-year-olds from Winthrop, 13 and nine-year-old juveniles of Winthrop all wore seat belts and were not injured. Alcohol was not involved. The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office, Gaylord Police and EMS and Winthrop EMS assisted.
New Ulm Police
• Attempted to locate a 21-year-old New Ulm female who left a group home. She was later found unharmed in Wells, Mn and returned to the group home by law enforcement. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
