New Ulm Police
• Received a two-car crash report at 7:33 a.m. Tuesday at 5th North and State Street. A 2008 car driven by Joseph Gillis, 18, New Ulm, was northbound on State St., stopped for a stop sign, pulled forward and was hit by a 2017 SUV driven westbound on 5th North by Peter Schletz, 42, New Ulm. The SUV was towed away with front end/side damage. The car had similar damage but was driven from the scene. Both drivers wore seat belts.
