New Ulm Police
• Took a report at 8:49 a.m. Monday of a 43-year-old New Ulm woman and a 37-year-old New Ulm man harassing each other in the New Ulm Middle School parking lot. A report was done for documentation.
• Took a report at 8:13 a.m. Monday from a childcare center about a four-year-old New Ulm boy bringing a live .38 round to the center. The boy said he got the round from his mother, a 24-year-old New Ulm woman. Officers discussed the situation with the mother. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
• Arrested a 36-year-old New Ulm man on a Mille Lacs County warrant at 1:09 p.m. Saturday. Officers found methamphetamine on the man. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for controlled substance charge consideration.
• Cited a 37-year-old New Ulm woman for assault and disorderly conduct at 2:41 a.m. Saturday regarding a physical altercation between her and a 38-year-old New Ulm woman.
Brown County Sheriffs’ Office
• Arrested a 39-year-old New Ulm man in Hanska at 9:33 p.m. Saturday on a Nicollet County warrant.
• Received a suspicious activity report at 2:08 p.m. Saturday in Leavenworth Township. Six bolts were reported removed from a vehicle CV shaft overnight. A report went to investigators.
• Received a suspicious activity report at 6:32 p.m. Friday in Linden Township. A 58-year-old Hanska man reportedly drove a vehicle on private property running into several trees and left the scene. No other damage was reported. A report was done for documentation.
• Arrested a 25-year-old rural Sleepy Eye man on a Nicollet County warrant at 10:28 p.m. Friday in Eden Township.
Sibley County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 8 west of 481st Avenue, Sibley Township, about five miles southwest of Gaylord at 3:23 a.m. Saturday, March 29. Gavin Meagher-Thole, 27, Sleepy Eye, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Impala westbound on Highway 8, crossed the center line, entered the south road ditch and rolled. Vehicle damage was severe. Meagher-Thole wore a seat belt. No injuries were reported.
