New Ulm Police
• Took a report at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Minnesota St. and 17th St. N. of a 44-year-old Mankato woman vandalizing numerous items owned by her brother. The woman poured barbecue sauce on items causing more than $1,800 damage. A report for damage to property went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
• Stopped a vehicle for speeding at 12:15 a.m. Monday at Broadway and Center St. Officers noticed vehicle occupants appeared to be hiding something. Underage consumption citations were issued to a 20-year-old New Ulm male, 19-year-old females from Racine, Cedarburg and Menomonee Falls, Wi. and Berrien Springs, Mi.; a 19-year-old Appleton, Wi. Male and 20-year-old Willis, Tx. Male.
• Responded to a domestic at 5:52 p.m Sunday on Franklin St. N. involving two sisters, 40 and 41-year-old New Ulm women. Verbal and physical altercations occurred but no medical attention was sought. The New Ulm City Attorney’s Office refused to pursue domestic assault and disorderly conduct charges.
• Took a report at 8:22 p.m. Sunday of a 20-year-old New Ulm female, considered a vulnerable adult, who left her group home without permission. Police found her walking near the group home and transported her back to it. A report went to Yellow Medicine Adult Services who supervise her.
• Took a call of a road rage incident early Monday morning near Washington St. and 4th St. S. Police stopped two vehicles and talked to three individuals involved. It was learned an altercation occurred earlier in the Brown County Law Enforcement parking lot. After reviewing parking lot surveillance, a citation was issued to a 36-year-old New Ulm woman for driving after revocation. A 38-year-old New Ulm woman was cited for disorderly conduct. A report was done for documentation.
• Took information Monday afternoon of six young children living in a residence where adults, a 31-year-old New Ulm man and a 37-year-old New Ulm woman are using methamphetamine. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
