Received a report on a broadside crash at 3:58 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and State Highway 68 in Blue Earth County. A 2013 Chevy Equinox driven by Paulette A. Bleck, 58, New Ulm, was stopped at a stop sign at Highway 169/60. She pulled out, attempted to cross southbound lanes and turn left onto the highway, collding with a 2011 Ford F150 pickup driven by Larry L. Peterson, 69, Arnolds Park, Ia. that was southbound in the left lane of Highway 169/60. Both drivers wore seat belts, air bags deployed and they were transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato. Both vehicles were demolished. The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
