Lydia Viola Tauer was born April 5, 1936 to Herbert and Oleta (Dauer) Tauer in Sigel Township. On July 3, 1956, Lydia was united in marriage to the love of her life, Henry Frank Liesenfeld, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Their union was blessed with six children, whom they raised together on the family farm. Lydia dedicated her life to raising her children and helping on the farm with Henry. The couple retired and moved to New Ulm in January of 2018. In her free time, Lydia loved four wheeling with Henry, spending time with her animals, tending to her flowers, going on walks and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Many treasured memories were made on Christmas decorating the Christmas tree and spending time with all her family. Lydia will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
