Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Moltke Township. Pastor Karl Grant will officiate the service. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Moltke Township.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Moltke Township.

Deloris is survived by her son, Chris Marquardt. She was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Oscar Charles Marquardt and her siblings: Irene Rettig, Ruth Olson, Bernetta Meyer, and Melvin “Buddy” Berg.

Deloris Lillian Marquardt was born November 26, 1929 to Michael and Martha (Grochow) Berg in New Auburn. She graduated from Glencoe High School and went on to Northwestern Technical College. Deloris worked as a medical technician, but her true passion was working as a professional clown. She held the most number of appearances, as well as many other awards for her volunteer work as a clown. Deloris was a member of the Aqua-Jesters, as well as the founder of the Clown Club when she was living in Deerwood, Minnesota. She was also an avid quilter with community education, was passionate about helping those with medical needs, and spending time socializing with all her friends. Deloris will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
