Barbra Kaye Adams was born April 5, 1949 in Luverne to Frederick “Fritz” and Geraldine (Wiggins) Adams. Barb graduated from New Ulm High School in 1967. Barbra was united in marriage to Ronald Ries at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity on October 14, 1967. The couple was blessed with two daughters and one son, whom together they raised in rural New Ulm on the family farm. Barb spent her career working in banking and finance. She spent the majority of her career with Edward Jones and retired there as a Branch Office Administrator. Barb enjoyed baking, shopping, and watching baseball with Ron in their younger years. Barb was very gifted in quilting and sewing. Above all, Barb took the most pride in her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many memories were made and will live on in those she loved. She will be dearly missed. As fate would have it, Barb passed away on Thanksgiving Day, just like her husband Ron. They are now reunited in Heaven exactly 21 years later. Barb was involved in Christian Mothers, is a previous member of Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and current member of St. George Catholic Church. Blessed be her memory.

The family would like to extend their greatest gratitude to the staff at Woodstone Senior Living and the Allina hospice team for the wonderful care provided to Barbra.
