Marie Theresa Schneider was born on December 26, 1931 in New Ulm to Peter & Julia (Sturm) Schneider. She graduated from Holy Trinity High School in New Ulm in 1950. Marie then joined the Women’s Army Corps. After her discharge, she was united in marriage to Jerome “Joe” Wiltscheck on April 13, 1955 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. They then moved to Gibbon to farm. Marie enjoyed working in the fields helping her husband, taking care of her lawn and flowers, cooking, baking, and doing puzzles and embroidery. She found great joy in watching her grandchildren play sports and going to their concerts. Her family was the most important aspect of her life. Blessed be her memory.
