NEW ULM–Robert “Rob” Leon Moldan, 52 of New Ulm, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 10, 2025, at his home in New Ulm. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.  Father Mark Steffl will celebrate the Mass, and burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, and continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday all at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-North Chapel in New Ulm. Rob is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cindy Moldan of New Ulm; and his children, Joseph and Aubrey Moldan. The full obituary will follow in Thursday’s edition of The Journal.
