Dolores Ruby Welke was born on March 6, 1944 to Reuben and Grace (Anderson) Welke in Enderlin, North Dakota. She was a graduate of Hanska High School. On May 4, 1968, Dolores was united in marriage to James Baier in Madelia. The couple was blessed with two daughters and two sons, whom together they raised in Georgia and Minnesota. Early in Dolores’ career, she worked at Windings and 3M. After moving to Georgia in 1980, she spent her time raising her family and taking care of their home. Dolores liked decorating her home, gardening, watching Vikings games, playing Angry Birds, Candy Crush and Scrabble, doing crosswords and eating orange popsicles. Dolores enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to go on many cruises and spend family vacations in Hawaii, California, and Las Vegas. Her greatest treasure was any time spent with her family. Her spunky personality and infectious laugh will always be remembered by those who loved her. She will be dearly missed. Blessed be her memory.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Allina Hospice Nurse, Karen and Home Health caregiver, Lindsey, for their excellent help in the care of their beloved mom.
