Patricia Anne Hengel was born September 28, 1957 to Darold and Marlis (Osfalg) Hengel in St. Cloud. She graduated in 1975 from Apollo High School in St. Cloud, and went on to earn her PhD in Psychology from Mankato State University. She then began a career lasting over 30 years at MRCI in New Ulm, where she retired just a few years ago. During that time, Patti was united in marriage to Richard Grbich on September 6, 1996 in New Ulm.

Outside of work, Patti led a full life. She enjoyed reading, especially True Crime novels, playing card and board games, watching the Vikings play football, spending time at the lake cabin, and traveling with Richard. Many fond memories were made making trips to Vegas, going to California to sit on the set of The Voice, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Shadow and Bentley.

Patti will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
