SPICER–Annette R.Schweiss, age 50, of Spicer, MN, passed away Thursday evening, March 27, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Mineapolis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Spicer. Interment will be in the Spicer City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. Visitation will also continue for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are entrusted to the Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer. www.petersonbrothers.com

Annette Rose Schweiss was born on September 27, 1974, in Redwood Falls, MN., the daughter of Edward and Linda (Ulmen) Schweiss. She grew up in Springfield and was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith. Annette graduated from Springfield High School in 1993 and then attended Spencer School of Business. She lived in Arizona and Florida before moving to the Spicer community in 1996. Annette worked as an accountant for several area businesses.

Health and wellness were of high importance to Annette. She was certified in the usage of the Bemer medical device and was passionate about teaching others how to improve their life through its use. She loved nature and being physically active outdoors, like bicycling, walking and hiking. She also loved speed…driving fast sports cars, motorcycles and snowmobiles. Annette cherished time spent with all her family, especially at the lake.

Annette blessed many individuals the gift of life as an organ donor.

She is survived by her parents, Edward and Linda Schweiss of Springfield; three siblings, Janninne (and Mark) Massicotte of Tomah, WI., William (and Jesse) Schweiss of Spicer and Amanda (and Jonathan) Beulke of New Prague; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
