Carol Joan Hoffmann was born March 11, 1952 to Bernard and Delphine (Tholkes) McMahon in Marshall. She graduated from Canby High School in 1970. On November 29, 1975, Carol was united in marriage to Neal Hoffmann at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Their union was blessed with five children. In addition to being a wife and mother, Carol continued working at various retail locations in New Ulm. Outside of work, Carol was involved with the Legion Auxiliary, Lafayette Lions Club, Nicollet County Pork Producers, and many different positions with St. Gregory the Great and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In the rare times that Carol was not out socializing with her friends and family, she enjoyed reading, tending to her flowers and garden, playing the piano, and recently making rag rugs with her loom.
Above all else, Carol was a very proud mother and grandmother who cherished every moment she was able to spend with her family. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
