A fine tribute to Red Wycawski
To the editor:
I was so sorry to see the passing of one of New Ulm’s finest gentlemen, Carl “Red” Wyczawski. To Jim Bastian, what a fine tribute to this person who devoted most of his life to the city of New Ulm. Red was truly one of our city’s finest, and I’m sure can never be replaced. Thank you to Red Bastian, who touched on many of the good things that he did (unlike other reporters who used very bad judgment in their story of Red Wyczawski’s passing). Once again, kudos to Jim “Red” Bastian for his fine story of a fine person. Rest in peace, Red, you have earned it.
