To the editor:
Have you ever taken on a task for a while and then halted that task for a season. I think all of us can answer “yes” to that. When you returned to the task, after the passage of time, were you not better equipped to handle that same task, then when you first began the task?
The only other president to do two non consecutive terms was Grover Cleveland in the late 1800s. In that second term he favored small tax on corporate income and not to impose a burden on personal incomes. Hasn’t Donald Trump talked of the same philosophy for his second non consecutive term? God states in Proverbs 24:5 “It is better to be wise than strong, and a man of knowledge increases his strength and power.” Let’s take God’s word for it and give Donald Trump’s present team the freedom to make the changes the American people voted for on Nov. 5.
