Irresponsible with people’s lives
To the editor:
Having had former employment experience with the federal government, I agree with the need for an in-depth look at expenditures, programs’ usefulness, etc. However, it seems extremely irresponsible to just shut down agencies and programs before any type of evaluation has been done. There are ramifications for employees, recipients and, probably, impacts as yet unknown.
The present administration is being irresponsible with people’s lives; and, seems to just be looking for attention-grabbing headlines….Positive reform takes time.
