Minnesota Legislature’s chaotic madness

To the editor:

Since Minnesota lawmakers fail to report and do their jobs as elected to do, all members should be stripped of paychecks and all monies from the taxpayers until they do show up to work. In the real world, any employee who fails to report to work to do their job is fired without pay immediately.

Why should lawmakers profit from doing zero, being irresponsible and arrogant, disregarding the Minnesota Constitution? Totally unacceptable behavior. If a run-off election necessary to seat someone, do the new election immediately and not wait months to do so if at all.

Have proper, secure elections to begin with where every ballot is counted rather than many going into the trash and ignored. Dictatorships operate in this manner. With thousands of laws on the books, many over 100 years old and no longer applicable, why don’t the lawmakers eliminate these ancient laws from the books before creating more, ridiculous new laws?

Shape up Minnesota Legislature…you are nothing more than a disgrace to this state.
