New administration laying the golden eggs

To the editor:

As the President has repeatedly whined about the witch hunts that have plagued him since his trip down the golden escalator, I’ve done a little checking.

From 1973-2016 he and his businesses have been involved in over 4,000 legal cases in U.S. federal and state courts, including battles with casino patrons, million-dollar real estate lawsuits, personal defamation lawsuits, and over one hundred business tax disputes.

4,000+ hoaxes?

4,000+ witch hunts?

4,000+ never-seen-anything- like-it attacks?

That’s more than 93 legal wranglings per year!

That’s 1.78 legal wranglings per week!

That’s one legal wrangling every four days!

That’s through 2016. How about the last eight years? Did he turn over a new leaf and refrain from a lifetime of shady dealings? Right.

Seventy-seven million voters seem to be convinced that the president has seen the error of his ways and will be a changed leader in his second ascension to the Oval Office, a regular epiphany, if you will. Right.

Stop the presses.

In the days since the inauguration, the administration has been willy-nilly in its executive orders and Musk-cuts and illegal firings that even the corrupted Supreme Court should be able to recognize and rectify.

The ensuing lawsuits are sending the earlier numbers upward at a dizzying rate.

Lawyers, both good and badly flawed, are looking forward to some lucrative days during the term of the current administration. The President is the proverbial goose that keeps laying the golden eggs. That’s even closer to the truth today.
